MARRIAGE ENRICHMENT

The objective of marriage enrichment is to strengthen existing marriages.  A good marriage takes work, dedication and a commitment to God.  Educational classes and enrichment seminars/retreats help couples boost their relationship to the next level.
 
 
- Coupletime
Coupletime groups (usually consisting of 5 -6 couples) meet in homes once a month. It's an opportunity for married couples to enhance and enrich their commitment to each other and to God. The meetings provide a time for partners to address essential issues of marriage that may otherwise get pushed aside during the busy routine of life. If you are interested in being a part of a Coupletime group, please contact Bill Ellis at the church office (241-8534).
Weekly Sunday Morning Couples Bible Study
We have several Bible study classes that meet on Sunday mornings at 11:00 a.m. in room 1225.

We offer marriage enrichment events at our church and also publicize events in the area that may be of interest to couples.

 
 
- Leadership Training in Marriage Ministry

CBC offers New Mentor Training and Coupletime Leadership training. If you would be interested in being a part of the marriage ministry program, please call Bill Ellis, Minister of Education and Discipleship Training - 241-8534.
 
 
- Lending Library 

CBC has numerous books, videos, etc. regarding marriage that are available for your use.
 
 
 
Additional Marriage Enrichment Opportunities Available in the Community:
 
MERCY:  The Marriage Education and Resource Center (MERCY) is a Christian-based organization whose purpose is to strengthen marriages.  They offer marriage education through various avenues and offer monthly workshops on various topics related to marriage.  They also serve as an information exchange and clearinghouse to help couples locate marriage programs.  For additional information, visit www.kymrc.com

FOCCUS - Have more than a beautiful wedding, receive the tools to a beautiful marriage.
